Tour overview

Discover the Tuscan countryside on an e-bike, take part in a guided tour through the Chianti hills, learn about the history and taste local products. You will take home a special memory of this wonderful place.
I will tell you the story of these places, the artists and the people who have made this area great in the world thanks to their work. I hope you discover this wonderful corner of Tuscany where I am lucky enough to live.

Where we go

The tour takes place by bike in the area of Semifonte, the ancient town located on a plateau overlooking the Val d’Elsa and the Chianti hills.

About me

Reviews

A nice family takes part in our e-bike tour along the old Via Francigena
Great tour, Manuele took us on the VF to show us a part of Tuscany we'd have never seen without his insight! He sorted the bikes and met us all in good time. For people not sure where to go or what to see, he can arrange something suitable! Had some great drone footage too!!

A nice group of friends exploring the hills of Certaldo by e-bike
Our e-bike tour with Manuele was fantastic. We toured the Tuscan countryside, saw Certaldo Alto, and had a wonderful time. I am so glad we decided to have Manuele videotape our ride. Now we have a very special souvenir that we can show our friends and watch again and again over the years!

Fernanda wes the first Guest of my bike tour, she is a beautiful girl from Chicago!
Manuele was an awesome guide (and cool person in general, ask him about his web designs), and I can't recommend him enough! He checked in with me regularly to make sure I was comfortable on the mountain bike and navigating the road to Semifonte. He also got some cool cycling and drone shots that he made into a mini movie I got to keep! Cycling through the Tuscan countryside was a stunning and unforgettable experience, and it's thanks to Manuele I got the chance to see it for all its beauty

How should I dress?

Wear comfortable clothes and sports shoes as if you were going for a run. Avoid cotton T-shirts, they get wet easily and there is a risk of catching a stitch from the wind. I recommend shorts and a merino wool T-shirt or technical clothing that dries easily. A raincoat can be useful in the rain.

How far will we be traveling?

We will cover between 15 and 25 km, depending on the physical preparation of the group, the weather conditions and other variables such as possible breaks. Your guide will plan the route for you so that you have the best possible experience. The whole experience takes about 4/5 hours.

Do I need any training?

You don't need to be trained, because with an e-bike you can climb even the toughest slopes without any problems. You do need to know how to ride a bike and be familiar with brakes and gears. Before setting off, you will receive instruction on safety and handling the bike.

Where will we meet?

We will meet in Semifonte or at the bike shop closest to you but if you wish, we can come directly to your home with the bikes and organize an ad hoc tour in your area.
